Versatile and lightweight, plastic patio chairs are a practical and, usually, cost-effective way to add extra seating solutions to your beautiful garden, rearranging them whenever you need to. You can find them in all sorts of colors and designs, so it won't be hard to match your current style. However, keep in mind that there are several types of plastic when it comes to outdoor furniture.
Simple, traditional plastic patio chairs are usually the most inexpensive option. However, because they can fade if kept in direct sunlight and can be damaged by frequent rain, we only recommend them if you're planning on placing them underneath a roof or a sheltered area.
Alternatively, if your plastic chairs will be right in the middle of the garden, you should look for treated options that are both UV and water-resistant, like polyurethane models.
It's also helpful to figure out how you're going to use them. Plastic dining chairs are specifically designed to be added to an existing outdoor table (although you can still use them to sit in the middle of the garden, of course!), whereas larger armchair-style chairs are a better option to lie back comfortably while relaxing or catching up with friends.
If space is a problem and you don't always want to have all the chairs laid out outside, you should look for stackable models.
