Experience

In her senior year at The Illinois Institute of Art, Jessica cooperated with Legat Architects, a Chicago-based architecture and interior design firm, where she learned the ropes of the industry. She is an award-winning professional and highly regarded educator, writing articles and teaching regular workshops on interior design and photography.

With her long-time passion for compelling imagery, Jessica focuses on using natural light to enhance the visual properties of the interiors she works on. Her articles and images have been featured in numerous prestigious magazines including Coastal Living, House Beautiful, and Architectural Digest.

Education

Jessica obtained her BFA degree in photography from Missouri State University in 2005 and has worked as a commercial interior photographer ever since. At some point, however, she felt she wanted to go beyond just capturing the final product. Fascinated by the realm of home decor, Jessica continued her education by pursuing a graduate degree in interior design at The Illinois Institute of Art, Chicago.

Being trained in both fields gives her the opportunity to be involved in the whole creation process and then capture the effects of her work at its best. She says she finally feels complete as a professional and desires to impart her love for impeccable composition with homeowners around the globe.
