Bed frames are useful for supporting box springs and/or mattresses. They help keep bedding up off the floor, making it easier to get the sleeper out of drafts. A good frame, especially one with wheels makes it easier to clean under and around a bed, and to keep bedding out of the dust. A frame can also lift the bed so that storage boxes or drawers can be placed beneath it. Some bed frames already have storage built-in, while a few might be part of a bunk bed or a trundle bed arrangement.
