Fitting a live edge bathroom vanity into some bathrooms can be a challenge. But a little ingenuity can make it happen. One of the easiest ways to add a live edge bathroom vanity to a small bathroom is to create a "twig" sink stand with a live edge top, supported by natural wood posts and finished out with matching lumber from the same mill, or perhaps even the same tree.
For larger bathrooms, there are some other options for incorporating live edge décor. For a shared bathroom, incorporate two basin style sinks mounted on a long live edge slab. It can simply be mounted on legs, such as slabs, poles, or limbs, or on industrial metal. For a more finish look, the slab can be placed atop a standard sink stand or on a specially built cabinet. Add a pair of mirrors framed with large knot holes, and you have a bathroom to write the folks "back home" about. Want to carry it a step farther? Add a small live edge toothbrush holder and toilet paper dispenser. To keep from overwhelming viewers with too much wood, add some old-fashioned metal fixtures for visual contrast.
